You can get in anywhere. But Fallout 4 will get an update at the end of this month, so it will best meet the “keeping up with graphics” standards, although Bethesda games are never really blockbusters in terms of graphics.
If you like Fallout 4, I would take a look at New Vegas, which is older, has not aged well in terms of graphics, I must add, but I think it is the best of all Bethesda Fallouts.

For me, the best Fallout is still Fallout 2, but that is an isometric turn-based combat game from 1998, and in fact a completely different game.
That goes back too far for many people who grew up with modern games.

There’s also Fallout 76, technically the most recent, but that’s a bit of an odd duck. I play it, but it doesn’t really have that typical Fallout experience because of the multiplayer element.
This one also launched with a lot of drama, but has really improved a lot since then. But still a niche game.
