Chile is advancing its domestic defense capabilities with the unveiling of a fresh technological demonstrator designed to modernize the army’s armored fleet. At the International Air and Space Fair, Fidae 2026, Fábricas y Maestranzas del Ejército (Famae) presented a prototype that integrates several new capabilities into the Piraña 6×6 vehicles currently used by the Chilean Army.
