As already reported, in the second round of Madrid, Latvia’s leading tennis player (WTA 10th) defeated the Spaniard Jesika Bousas (#93) – 6:3, 6:1. “I expected a very tough fight, because the girl plays very well, especially on the edge, and she is local,” reveals Alon Ostapenko. “I won a little easier than expected.”
