Florence + The Machine Announces New Album ‘Everybody Scream‘ and 2026 North American Tour
Florence + The Machine is poised to enter a thrilling new era, recently previewing their upcoming sound with a captivating Halloween performance. The band is set to release their sixth studio album,Everybody Scream,on October 31st,and will embark on a highly anticipated North American headline tour in 2026.
During the special broadcast, Florence Welch and the band delivered a stunning mashup. they seamlessly blended their rendition of Lady Gaga’s “Abracadabra” with “which Witch,” a dramatic track from the deluxe edition of their 2015 album, How Big, how Blue, how Lovely.

A New Album Rooted in Personal Experience
Everybody Scream marks the group’s first full-length release since 2022’s critically acclaimed Dance Fever. Dance fever reached No. 7 on the Billboard 200 and topped the Official Albums Chart in the U.K.
Welch describes the new LP as a “fever dream” exploring themes of witchcraft, mysticism, poetry, and insanity. It delves into profound subjects like mortality, rebirth, and feminine rage.
The album’s inspiration stems, in part, from Welch’s personal journey through a near-fatal ectopic pregnancy and subsequent emergency surgery. She recently shared with The Guardian that confronting her own mortality profoundly shaped the album’s emotional depth. “The closest I came to making life was the closest I came to death,” she explained.
What to Expect from ‘Everybody Scream’
The album already features the previously released singles “Sympathy Magic” and “Spell it Out.” These tracks signal a shift towards a darker sonic landscape and continue the band’s exploration of mythic lyrical themes. Everybody Scream will be available on October 31st through Republic Records.
