Four Parties Leave Bulgarian Socialist Party coalition
Four political parties have withdrawn from the “BSP-United Left” coalition in Bulgaria, according to reports from the Bulgarian National Radio (BNR).1
The departing parties are the “Party for Radical Change – Bulgarian Spring,” the “Movement 21” party, “Ther Is Such a Peopel” (Izpravi se, bulgaria), and the “Political Movement Social democrats.”
Following written requests from the four formations to terminate their participation in BSP-OL,the Central Election Commission (CEC) has made changes to the coalition’s composition, removing the four parties.
The “BSP-United Left” coalition was registered with the CEC for the parliamentary elections held in October 2024.2 The coalition initially comprised 20 left-leaning formations.3
