Darmanin has in fact announced mutual support for the next “major sporting events (…) notably the Olympic and Paralympic Games this summer and the African Cup of Nations in Morocco in 2025”. The French state could also lend a hand in 2030 for the centenary of the World Cup which will be co-organized by Morocco, Spain and Portugal.
