New royalty Crowned at Pfalzpaint Shooting Festival
Pfalzpaint – The annual proclamation of shooting royalty took place at a well-attended party held at the Schützenhaus in Pfalzpaint. Franziska Gegg was named the new shooting queen, representing the Pfalzpainter riflemen, while Andreas Netter secured first place as bow king. Tamica Ugochukwu will serve as the Youth Queen for 2026,representing the next generation of marksmen adn women.
A Tradition of Skill and Community
The event, steeped in tradition, saw a large turnout of community members eager to witness the crowning of the new royalty. Master rifleman Florian Bauer opened the program with a welcome address, followed by the presentation of prizes to the top shooters. Christian Schneider led the field of competitors, achieving a score of 97.9 rings. Younger shooters also showcased their talent, with Jonas demonstrating promise in the light rifle category.
