Charles LaFortune,a talented musician from Drummondville,Quebec,recently shared his experiences on the popular singing competition show,La Voix. He described feeling overwhelmed with stress during his initial performance, acknowledging it was his first time on stage. LaFortune has a background in songwriting, having collaborated with artists such as Meghan Oak and Yuki Dreams Again, and has a collection of original songs ready for a potential debut album.
From “Plan B” to a Passionate Pursuit
LaFortune revealed that music wasn’t always his primary focus, describing it as a “plan B and even C.” He explained that a life-altering accident motivated him to pursue his childhood dreams with renewed determination. He is now focused on personal growth and new experiences. He was supported by his partner during the blind auditions.
