Grounding & Breathwork
Begin by finding a agreeable seated position. You can sit cross-legged, in a chair, or however feels best for your body. Close your eyes gently and bring your awareness to your breath.
* Notice the natural rhythm of your inhales and exhales.
* Allow your breath to deepen, filling your lungs fully with each inhale.
* Release any tension with each exhale.
Continue this mindful breathing for several rounds,allowing yourself to settle into the present moment.
Cat-Cow Pose
This dynamic duo is perfect for warming up the spine and connecting with your breath.
* Come onto your hands and knees, ensuring your wrists are aligned under your shoulders and your knees are under your hips.
* Inhale as you drop your belly towards the floor, arching your back and lifting your gaze – this is Cow Pose.
* Exhale to round your spine towards the ceiling, tucking your chin to your chest – this is Cat Pose.
Repeat Cat-Cow for 6 cycles of breath, adding any intuitive movement your body craves. Feel free to circle your hips or gently sway from side to side.
Child’s Pose

* From your hands and knees, widen your knees to sit between your heels.
* Lower your torso towards the mat, extending your arms forward.
* Rest your forehead on the mat, or use a block or blanket for support if needed.
