Since its creation in 2018, the Paris Peace Forum acts as a platform, promoting solutions in global governance. Representatives of States, international organizations, civil society and the private sector will come together around a common theme, that of “just transitions”.

In a complex geopolitical context, characterized by soaring prices on international markets, the multiplication of famines in the world, the rapid increase in the birth rate, climate change illustrated by the increase in global temperatures and the accumulation of disasters climate but also the presence of multiple armed conflicts in the world, talking about subjects such as climate financing, the development of agriculture in Africa, nutrition and equity in global health, is of significant importance.

Thus, the program will include conferences led by renowned experts and closed meetings on these various themes. Hicham El Habti, President of theUM6Phighlights the need for “Just Transitions” for a “sustainable and inclusive development in Africa » and more generally, in the world. L’UM6P is committed to proposing concrete solutions during this event.
