Ólafur Darri Ólafsson and Mandy Patinkin Cast as Thor and Odin in AmazonS God of War Series
Amazon’s upcoming God of War series has announced its leading cast members for two pivotal roles in Norse mythology. Ólafur Darri Ólafsson, known for his performances in Severance and La Palma, will portray the God of Thunder, thor. Alongside him, mandy Patinkin, celebrated for his work in Criminal minds and The Princess Bride, has been cast as Odin, the Allfather of Norse gods.
The casting choices strongly suggest the Amazon adaptation will closely follow the narrative of God of War: Ragnarok, positioning Kratos in direct conflict with both Thor and Odin.
