Gunther Predicts Heartbreak for Fans in Potential Cena Retirement Match

Gunther Warns‌ Fans:‍ John Cena‘s ⁣farewell‌ match Won’t Be a ⁣Fairytale

Gunther, the formidable Austrian wrestler, is preparing to face John Cena in what is billed as the legendary performer’s⁤ final match. However, don’t expect a sentimental victory for Cena, according⁢ to Gunther. He’s confidently predicting a heartbreaking end to Cena’s celebrated career.

Gunther anticipates a massive outpouring of support for Cena at the “Saturday Night’s Main Event” showdown. Yet, he firmly‌ believes fans will leave disappointed. “At the end, thay’re going to get their hearts broken,” he⁣ stated.

A Retirement Tour Culminating in DC

Cena embarked on a farewell tour earlier this⁤ year, leading to this climactic event. The match will take⁤ place at the Capitol⁣ One Arena in Washington, DC, and will be broadcast live on Peacock.

Gunther earned the right to be Cena’s final opponent by winning the Last Time Is Now Tournament. His path to the championship bout included victories over notable WWE⁢ stars like Je’Von Evans, Carmelo⁤ Hayes, solo Sikoa, and LA Knight.

He particularly enjoyed his match against Solo ⁤Sikoa. “I like a good heavyweight ⁢match,” gunther explained. “He performed very good as well, and‌ I’m not sure if Solo was ‍in a situation like that many times.”

Not His First ⁢Retirement Send-Off

Interestingly, this isn’t gunther’s first experience participating in a major retirement match ⁢on “Saturday night’s⁢ Main Event” this year. He ⁣previously faced WWE⁣ Hall of Famer Goldberg as he hung up his boots ⁣back in July.

Despite the high⁢ stakes, Gunther remains unfazed by the pressure. “I ‌know what⁤ I can do, and I know I can rely on that,” he said. “It’s always very positive pressure.”

A Submission Victory in Sight?

During‍ a recent ⁤appearance on “Monday Night Raw,” gunther boldly promised not just a win,⁣ but a submission victory over‌ Cena. ⁣He pointed out Cena’s ⁢long and prosperous career, but highlighted a notable ‍gap in his record.

“He hasn’t been submitted‌ in what, over 20 years?” Gunther questioned.”So I think that spices the whole thing‍ up ‌a little ⁢bit.” He believes ‌adding a submission loss to ⁢Cena’s legacy would be a fitting ‍end.

Don’t miss “Saturday Night’s ‍Main event,” airing live ⁣on Peacock at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on December 13th. You’ll witness a pivotal moment in wrestling history,and possibly,a shocking upset.
