Gwen Stefani is nervous about the first performances with her old band No Doubt in years. The 54-year-old American singer sometimes literally gets sick when she has to sing old songs, she tells the tabloid Daily Star.

In April, No Doubt will perform again for the first time in almost ten years. This will happen during the American Coachella festival, which lasts from April 12 to 14 and April 19 to 21.

“I can’t listen to a lot of old songs anymore because they say so much,” says the singer. “A lot of songs are about mistakes and regrets. Like me Ex-Girlfriend sing, I almost throw up in my mouth. I know exactly where I was when I wrote that song, it takes me right back there.”

Stefani previously said in conversation with American talk show host Jimmy Kimmel that she is also looking forward to being on stage again with her old band. “It’s like riding a bike,” she said of the Coachella performance.

The singer did think that she would have a hard time with a few songs. “I don’t know the lyrics anymore, not at all. I think I still have to rehearse about eight or nine songs.”
