Hexus, an AI tool developer for enterprise applications, has been acquired by Harvey, a leading AI platform for the legal industry. Sakshi Pratap, founder and CEO of Hexus, who previously held engineering roles at Walmart, oracle, and Google, will lead an engineering team at Harvey focused on accelerating the development of its offerings for in-house legal departments. The Hexus team, based in San Francisco, has already joined Harvey, with its india-based engineers to follow onc Harvey establishes a Bangalore office.
“What we’re bringing to Harvey is deep experience building enterprise AI tools in adjacent problem spaces,” Pratap said. “This expertise helps Harvey move faster in a market that’s becoming increasingly competitive.”
Hexus had raised $1.6 million in funding from Pear VC, Liquid 2 Ventures, and angel investors prior to the acquisition. While the deal terms were not disclosed, Pratap indicated the structure was designed around “long-term team incentives.”
