Jaipur: Former Australian spinner Brad Hogg praised the performance of Sanju Samson-led Rajasthan Royals, who won all four matches played in the IPL. Hogg said in an NDTV podcast that Rajasthan Royals are the most balanced team in this IPL.

Hogg said that while there were many underdogs in the Rajasthan line-up, Rian Parag was the player who performed well beyond expectations. Parag seems to have become a more mature player this season. I love watching Parag play. He is the youngest player to score a half-century in IPL. I like his energy and fielding.

He has really matured this year. Looks like he had a bit of an ego last year. I don’t mean this in a bad way. Not that he doesn’t have ego this year either, but he can control it. Hogg said he is able to trust his own ability and think about what he can do for the team without just securing his own position.

Parag, who debuted for Rajasthan Royals in 2019, has scored 185 runs at a strike rate of 158.12 and an average of 92.50 in four matches this season, including two fifties. Parag was also instrumental in two of Rajasthan’s victories. After winning the first four matches of the season, Shubman Gill-led Gujarat Titans will face the fifth match today.
