After two days of growth, the Lisbon stock exchange ended this Friday’s session in decline, recording a negative weekly balance of 0.67%. The main national index traded in line with its European peers, which are mostly in the red.

The PSI depreciated 0.51% to 6,295.12 points, with six listed on the rise, eight in negative territory and two unchanged, Ibersol and Sonae.

Registering the biggest drop was BCP losing 2.84% to 0.3045 euros, in a correction movement given the strong gains this Thursday, in which it rose 6%. this after the bank’s CEO, Miguel Maya, stated that he plans, starting next year, to BCP delivers half or more of its profits to shareholders through dividends.

Mota-Engil also saw the biggest declines, which fell 2.84% to 4.184 euros and CTT, which fell 1.32% to 4.47 euros.

Among the heavyweights, EDP Renováveis ​​fell 1.08% to 12.83 euros and EDP fell 0.96% to 3.607 euros. This on a day when RBC raised Renováveis’ recommendation, but lowered the target price of the group’s two companies. The parent company announced on Thursday before the opening operational data for the first quarter.

In turn, Jerónimo Martins lost 0.73% to 17.78 euros, following the decline in the retail sector in Europe, and Galp lost 0.31% to 16.04 euros.

On the positive side, Navigator rose 3.49% to 4.088 euros, rising to the highs of August 2022. Also on the podium was Altri, which added 1.42% to 5 euros and REN, which advanced 0.91% to 2.22 euros.
