From Sunday March 10, Hélène Hendriks will present a new talk show for eleven Sundays in a row, called The Orange Sunday. The 43-year-old presenter shares this news on Friday evening in the SBS talk show Today Inside.
Hendriks receives changing guests every week. She talks to them about current events. The Orange Sunday can be seen weekly at 9:30 PM. Each episode lasts one hour. “There is little orange about it,” says Hendriks, referring to the name. “But that doesn’t matter at all.”
The presenter says she is ‘curious’ whether it will work ‘that Sunday’. Johan Derksen said at the table that he had no doubts about that. “You have success hanging on your backside,” said the analyst. René van der Gijp is also confident: “Of course it will work.”

Hendriks previously presented the talk shows De Oranjezomer and De Oranjewinter on SBS6. She could be seen with both shows on weekdays. The Orange Summer was nominated last year for the Golden Televizier Ring. Although she did not win that prize, Hendriks did walk away with the Televizier-Ring Presenter.
After the weeks that Hendriks presents De Orange Sunday, she will do the honors for a number of weeks on the site of Today Inside. During those weeks, Wilfred Genee, Derksen and Van der Gijp have a break.
