However, the recently launched campaign to fill the most important positions in the armed forces has so far brought particularly positive results. According to the article, 8,000 jobs were announced, for which a total of 90,000 applications were received. This shows that there is no shortage of the necessary professionals in the country.
The situation is different with regard to the number of mobilized people, since the Ukrainian authorities cannot disclose the exact number of people they need near the immediate front line.
In recent weeks, high-ranking officials have repeatedly said that around 400,000-500,000 people would be sent to join the armed forces, but this number is not static at all. It also depends on the development of the battlefield situation and the time, as they know that it is not possible to swell the formations overnight.
The increase in personnel is also necessary in order to replace the soldiers who have been fighting on the front line in defense of Ukraine since the beginning of the Russian invasion. There were also rumors in the country that the internal security forces would be ordered by Kiev to the combat positions, but these were denied by the authorities.
