HESTA Excellence Awards 2026: Recognizing Leaders in Health adn community Services

Nominations are now open for the 2026 HESTA excellence Awards, ⁢a prestigious program celebrating the dedication and impact of professionals in aged care, allied health, community services, and disability services [[1]]. These awards acknowledge individuals and teams who demonstrate exceptional leadership and commitment to improving the⁢ lives of others.

A Trio of Awards Recognizing Excellence

The HESTA Excellence Awards are one of three annual award ceremonies hosted by HESTA Super Fund.the other two awards programs are the HESTA Australian Nursing & Midwifery Awards and the HESTA Early Childhood Education & Care Awards. All three initiatives highlight the vital contributions of workers ⁣in⁣ the health and community services sectors.

Celebrating ‍Commitment and resilience

According to ⁤HESTA CEO Debby Blakey, these professionals consistently exceed expectations in their dedication to⁣ positive change. “Health and community services professionals consistently go above and beyond ⁤to improve lives and drive positive change,” Blakey stated. “The commitment and resilience they demonstrate is truly extraordinary and has a lasting impact, uplifting individuals and helping to build more inclusive, supportive communities for ‍all.”

Nomination Details‍ and Key Dates

Individuals, employers, and colleagues are encouraged to nominate outstanding professionals and teams. Nominations are ⁤open until midnight (AEST) on Sunday,April 12,2026. Key dates⁢ to remember include:

• Nominations Close: April 12, 2026
• Finalists Announced: July 7, 2026
• Awards Ceremony: August 6, 2026

The awards recognize achievements in two categories: Individual Leadership and Team Excellence.
