Hezbollah Sends 668 Rockets Over Curves, 570 Israeli Settlers’ Houses Destroyed on the Northern Front

TRIBUNNEWS.COM – Israeli media, Saturday (2/3/2024) reported on the large scale of destruction that befell Jewish settlements in the north as a result of Hezbollah attacks during last February.

This report adds to the list of damage they have experienced over the past three months due to the ongoing wave of Hezbollah attacks.

According to a report published by Lobby 1701 quoted Yedioth Ahronoththe Lebanese Hezbollah group launched 668 curved-trajectory rockets, 21 heavy rockets, 91 precision-guided missiles and around 40 drones towards Israel in the past month.

The report further stated that around 68,000 settlers had fled their homes in the North since October 7.

Moreover, Israel has turned part of the northern territory they occupy into a security belt area.

This means that the location must be vacated because it is considered a risk zone for Hezbollah attacks.

“Last month, in February, around 570 houses were hit by rocket fire in the confrontation zone in the north,” the report added.

The report asserts, “these figures are unprecedented, reflecting the challenging reality that Israel has, until recently, decided to abandon settlements in the north, turning parts of the region into a security belt.”

The newspaper claimed that “the Lobby will work at all costs to ensure the continued prosperity, growth and security of settlement in the North.”

Attack Using Suicide Drones

The Lebanese Resistance Militia, Hezbollah, reportedly launched another series of attacks on Israeli troops, Friday (1/3/2024).

During the series of attacks, Hezbollah reportedly succeeded in shooting down an Israeli unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV/Drone).

Hezbollah also attacked the presence of Israeli army troops (IDF) in several positions.

“Lebanese Resistance – Hezbollah attacked a group of Israeli occupation forces with a suicide drone, on Friday afternoon,” the group’s military media said in a statement.
