Specifically, we commend the NDHM’s focus on advancing interoperability and facilitating seamless access, exchange, and utilization of Electronic Health Facts (EHI).The Foundation for a Robust Digital Health ecosystem
A accomplished national Electronic Health Record (EHR) system is crucial for modernizing healthcare in India. It shoudl be built upon a solid legal framework, and we believe the upcoming Data Protection Bill is a vital component. This legislation, submitted to the Electronics and IT Minister Hon’ble Shri. ravi shankar Prasad by the BN Srikrishna Committee on July 27, 2018, and currently under review by the Joint Parliamentary Committee, will ensure health records adhere to all necessary regulatory requirements.
