Vier Boxen für ein Halleluja? Das Hisense HT Saturn verzichtet auf Soundbar und einen Center-Lautsprecher.

Platzsparendes Design und Flexibilität in der Aufstellung sind das Konzept hinter dem System Hisense Saturn. Deshalb ist auch der Aufbau erst mal einfach: Nur der Hub braucht als Mittelfeld-Regisseur einen festen Platz am TV-Standort, die vier Boxen und der Subwoofer spielen allesamt frei im Feld und auf jeder erdenklichen Position. Einzige Bedingung bleibt: Eine Steckdose für ihr Netzteil brauchen alle Lautsprechereinheiten – insgesamt fünf Stromanschlüsse are not so few after all. What flexibility remains in the structure depends entirely on the distribution of sockets in the room. The connection situation still remains clear: HDMI oder optisches Digitalkabel (Toslink) are available if lossless sound quality is desired. If you don’t want a cable connection to the television, you can do so with Bluetooth coupling – just not with quality class A sound mixing. A USB port is mentioned here, but it is not suitable for media playback – and is therefore ultimately useless for the user.

Das Soundsystem Saturn ist für moderne Heimkino-Set-ups gemacht: Alle Lautsprecher sind für 3D-Klang ausgerüstet und geben somit Formate wie Dolby Atmos und DTS:X – i.e. significantly more complex sound mixes than normal surround systems. In order for the boxes to play the right role in their free structure, they must correctly understand their position in the room. This is done by measuring the speakers, the so-called Raumkalibrierung. And this is where the biggest disappointment awaits home theater fans: There is simply no dedicated measurement via microphones on the set boxes – this role is only filled by a compatible Hisense TV. If you don’t have one, you’ll only hear a standard mix that doesn’t adapt to the spatial conditions. But what does it sound like?

Es ist schwer, sich beim Saturn-System von Hisense über den satten Klang und die differenzierte Soundausgabe to be happy. Not because they don’t exist. But simply because it could be significantly better: With 720 watts of nominal speaker power and lossless 3D playback quality, the system nails any soundbar set to the wall – but the hammer doesn’t really hit the mark. The hohe Formatkompatibilität with spatial sound formats is not completely convincing if the audio tracks occasionally seem a bit skewed without measurement. The Saturn surround sound is miles superior to any soundbar trick with virtual Dolby Atmos. All the more annoying that the fine adjustment is only possible with a Hisense television. Film soundtracks are still epochal, according to some 3D-Effekte but don’t quite fit the picture spatially. Sure: That’s complaining at a high level – but that’s exactly what the new standard will become Dolby Atmos Flex Increase again in 2026. The Hisense system still lacks certification for this, which calls into question the future security of the system.
Wie schlägt sich das Hisense HT Saturn bei Musikwiedergabe? Ganz gut, aber nicht glänzend. Punktabzug gibt es beim fehlenden WLAN-Empfang, with what only Bluetooth-Zuspielung and therefore lower quality yield is possible. The only solution for really high-quality sound is to play additional hardware such as stereo systems via HDMI or Toslink cable – or the Smart TV, whatever auch ohne Hisense-Fernseher goes.
Gut gebrüllt, aber taub: Dem Hisense HT Saturn bleiben im Test höhere Weihen verwehrt, weil dem flexiblen Heimkino-System die Technik zur Raumeinmessung fehlt. Nur passende Hisense-Fernseher sind dazu in der Lage – mit jedem anderen Smart-TV schauen Nutzer in die Röhre. So geben die vier kabellosen 3D-Boxen zusammen mit dem Subwoofer zwar ein feines und zugleich kräftiges Klangbild ab, in den meisten Wohnzimmern allerdings kein maßgeschneidertes. Mit seinem verlockenden Preispunkt hätte Hisense hier eigentlich große Chancen, Heimkino-Platzhirsche wie Sony und LG an die Wand zu spielen – mit den Einschränkungen bei Kompatibilität und Bedienung bleiben aber noch etliche Wünsche offen.
