Sentenced to four months in prison for slanderous denunciation of a fictitious theft live on the radio, Momo had the support of Hit Radio which, like him, decided to appeal the judgment pronounced by the Court of First Instance.

“Following the verdict rendered in first instance by the Criminal Court of Casablanca concerning the case of the alleged telephone theft live on Hit Radio on March 21, 2024, during the program “Momo Ramadan Show”, we wish to inform the public that we “We support our host in his decision to appeal this judgment,” the radio said in a press release published on Saturday April 13.

Hit Radio wishes to inform its listeners that it will in turn appeal the judgment as a civil party “so that the case can be re-examined by the Court of Appeal of Casablanca”.

Let us recall that the Aïn Sebaâ criminal court in Casablanca sentenced Mohamed Bousfiha at first instance, on Tuesday April 9, to four months in prison in the case of a simulation of a fictitious telephone theft broadcast live on the ‘antenna.

The court also sentenced a defendant named Mustapha to 3 months in prison, and imposed a sentence of 5 months in prison against the second defendant, named Amine.
