Previously, there were major layoffs in the gaming industry. Even a giant label like Sony cannot escape layoffs from major labels. And recently news from VR game creator Firesprite Studios, the creators of ‘Horizon Call Of The Mountain Dev’, has also been affected by major layoffs.

By that Our team is a dedicated and amazing team of game creators. He was a pleasure to work with and an honor to have on the production team. There is also information indicating that in addition to the director, the production staff have also been laid off. But no exact number has been given of how many production staff will be affected.

Back in February, Sony announced the layoff of approximately 900 employees and the cancellation of the project for a new ‘Twisted Metal’ game. It is one of the projects created by the Firesprite team. However, it is reported that the online game project set in the game world ‘Horizon’ has not been canceled yet.

However, there are reports that working in the Firesprite team is not smooth because of a poor work culture. Due to the resignation of the main production team, there are news that the morale of the ‘Horizon Call of the Mountain’ production team is not very good.
