Speaking at the event, ICAN President and Chairman of Council, Mallam Haruna Yahaya, emphasized the paramount importance of upholding the highest standards of professionalism. “The value of this institute rests entirely on the conduct of its members,” he stated, underscoring the critical duty chartered accountants bear in handling sensitive financial facts across both public and private sectors.He warned that lapses in judgment could have severe legal and commercial repercussions, reinforcing the need for unwavering ethical commitment.
