Jakarta, Selular.ID – Infinix has previously confirmed the presence of the Note 40 series smartphone in Indonesia. Now let’s take a look at the specifications and price.

On the global stage, this series has just been unveiled. The Infinix Note 40 range consists of four models, namely Note 40, Note 40 Pro, Note 40 Pro 5G, and Note 40 Pro+ 5G.

It is not yet certain whether the four models will be brought to Indonesia or just some of them.

To be sure, Infinix’s entire new Note 40 series offers a large 120Hz AMOLED display (mostly curved) and a 108MP camera (mostly with OIS).

They all have wired fast charging and are compatible with the company’s new magnetic wireless charging system (it’s compatible with special cases).

Infinix Note 40 Pro+ 5G

This is the first Infinix Note to wear the Pro+ badge, although the Note 30 VIP was in a similar position last year.

The Infinix Note 40 Pro+ 5G is powered by the Dimensity 7020, a 6nm chip with two Cortex-A78 cores at 2.2GHz and six A55 cores at 2.0GHz.

This is paired with up to 12GB of RAM, which can be doubled with virtual RAM.

On the front there is a curved AMOLED screen with 55° tilt.

It’s a 10-bit 120Hz panel with FHD+ resolution and up to 1,300 nits peak brightness with 2,160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming.

The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass and Infinix has also included a tempered glass protector in the box.

The Pro+ is equipped with a triple camera system that offers a 108MP main camera with OIS and up to 3x in-sensor zoom.

Unfortunately it can’t record 4K video. The other two modules are 2MP helpers. What’s more interesting is the 32MP selfie camera.

Infinix Note 40 Pro+ 5G

Infinix is proud to present Cheetah X1, its first internal power management chip.

It handles charging and safety duties and can handle up to 100W.

The 4,500mAh battery can be charged up to 50% in just 12 minutes and can last up to 1,600 cycles.

Just 5 minutes of charging is enough for 3 hours of gaming or almost 7 hours of video playback.

There is also wireless charging at 20W. It’s not the Qi 2, but Infinix did design a magnetic charging system dubbed “MagKit”.

It includes a wireless charger and a wireless power bank and can work with or without a case (but the case has a special design).

Reverse wired and wireless charging is also supported.

For gaming, users might like Bypass Charging 2.0, which sends power directly to the motherboard (bypassing the battery), helping the phone run at 4.5°C.

The phone also has a large vapor chamber (3,753mm²) and a graphite sheet, which combined can reduce the chipset temperature by 7°C.

On the fun side, there are stereo speakers from JBL that work with x-axis haptic feedback to provide an immersive experience.

This phone has an IP53 rating which means it is splash resistant, so it is rainproof). It comes in two colorways. The Vintage Green option has a green faux leather back and gold accents (chassis and camera bump). Obsidian Black ditches the faux leather in favor of a black marble texture.
