In the Foreign Relations Commission of the Chamber of Deputies There is a transversal concern regarding the different actions that the Argentine government is carrying out, such as the purchase of a BT-67 plane from the United States for use in Antarctica and the interception of a Chilean tugboat within the Exclusive Economic Zone of the trans-Andean country.

Added to the above are the various statements issued by President Javier Milei, who, in his foreign policy, includes strengthening relations with the United States and Israel and positioning himself in the southern zone and Antarctica.

In this way, deputy Diego Schalper (RN) commented that “I am very concerned about the attitudes that the Argentine government has had (…) It would be prudent to have a session especially dedicated to this point, where we can ask Ambassador Viera to attend. Rooster”.
