Planning Your Loved One’s Remembrance: A Guide to Obituary & Memoriam Submissions
Losing a loved one is incredibly difficult, and navigating the details of their remembrance can feel overwhelming. We’re here to help simplify the process of submitting an obituary or memoriam, ensuring their life story is honored with dignity and care. This guide outlines everything you need to know about deadlines, content requirements, and how to get in touch with our team.
Understanding Your Options: Obituary vs. Memoriam
First, let’s clarify the difference between an obituary and a memoriam. An obituary is a thorough account of a person’s life, typically including birthdates, accomplishments, family members, and service details. Conversely, a memoriam is a remembrance – a heartfelt tribute to a loved one after their passing, focusing on cherished memories.
Remember, the rates for these two types of submissions differ, so understanding which best suits your needs is vital.
