The 27-year-old Chilean golfer secured a three-stroke victory over American runner-up Harold Varner III, extending his record for LIV wins to nine titles. Following the win, Niemann met with United States President Donald Trump on the grounds of the Bedminster course, as confirmed by both international outlets.
While Niemann captured the individual tournament trophy in New Jersey, fellow competitor Jon Rahm sealed his third straight season title despite struggling on the final day, finishing tied for 41st after closing out his tournament with a round of 76.

Niemann maintained his grip on the leaderboard from the opening day through Sunday’s final round, navigating the challenging New Jersey layout to outpace the rest of the field. England’s Lee Westwood and Zimbabwe’s Scott Vincent finished seven strokes behind the champion, sharing third place at nine under par.

The 31-year-old secured victories in Hong Kong and Mexico out of 12 starts so far, alongside four runner-up finishes. “It has been a great year,” Rahm told reporters, as cited by the BBC and Daily Trust. “A little sour taste in my mouth because of how badly I played this week, but it has been something to be proud of. After last year, not getting a win and possibly having a question mark over the season-long race, to win twice and win it again definitely feels good.”
