Jordan Peterson‘s Daughter Shares Update on Father’s Ongoing health Battle
Jordan Peterson, the renowned clinical psychologist and author, continues his journey toward recovery, and his daughter, Mikhaila Fuller, recently provided an update to her followers. Fuller, who publicly shared her own Christian faith journey earlier this year, expressed gratitude for the outpouring of support and prayers for her father.
She acknowledged a period of relative silence online, attributing it to a particularly stressful six months navigating complex health challenges within her family. Fuller emphasized the tangible impact of the prayers received, stating they have been profoundly helpful during this difficult time.
Unclear Diagnosis,Dedicated Care
Currently,Peterson’s medical team is still working to pinpoint the exact cause of his health issues. However, he is receiving treatment from a team of highly qualified specialists. In August, Fuller revealed her father had been diagnosed with chronic inflammatory response syndrome (CIRS).
This condition is often linked to exposure to mold and water damage in buildings, and Fuller noted her father had been experiencing related symptoms since 2017 without a clear diagnosis.
A Cascade of Health Concerns
Peterson’s health struggles haven’t been the only challenge facing the family. Fuller shared that her infant daughter, Audrey, faced a life-threatening health scare earlier this year. Audrey nearly succumbed to heart failure at just six weeks old, adding another layer of stress and concern.
These overlapping health crises have lead Fuller to believe her family is facing spiritual opposition. Thankfully, Audrey is now thriving and doing well.
Peterson Academy and Future Plans
Despite his health battles, Peterson remains actively engaged in meaningful work. he and Fuller co-founded Peterson Academy in 2024, an online learning platform that has quickly gained traction.
Currently, the academy boasts a catalog of 70 courses and a newly launched mobile app. Fuller shared that peterson is now reviewing the courses himself, offering positive feedback.
Fuller also plans to relaunch her podcast in January, offering another avenue for connection and discussion. She indicated she will refrain from providing frequent updates on her father’s health until there is notable progress to report, but she is enjoying spending quality time with him daily.
This ongoing situation highlights the resilience of the Peterson family and the power of community support during times of adversity. You can continue to keep them in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate this challenging chapter.
