Colombian singer Karol G recently celebrated the birthday of her close friend, Daiky Gamboa, with a generous gesture at her Medellín restaurant, Carolina. The celebration, which took place on Tuesday night, involved a large group and a substantial bill reportedly footed by the artist herself.

Videos circulating on social media show Karol G and daiky Gamboa enjoying a meal and festivities at Carolina, located in the Provenza neighborhood of Medellín. The group was joined by other friends and enjoyed a lively atmosphere with music and dancing. José Tobón, the saxophonist for Tomate’s Combo – the restaurant’s resident band – announced that Karol G would be covering the entire bill for the evening.
According to Grupo Belisario, Karol G’s business partner in the restaurant, the artist paid approximately 30 million Colombian pesos (roughly $7,300 USD as of January 29, 2026) to cover the expenses for around 150 people. El Colombiano initially reported on the event.
