The luxurious gift received a few days ago by Kel Calderonfrom her father, the lawyer Hernán Calderón: a Chanel bag.

The model in question is a “classic 11.12”, in the edition with grained calfskin, which, according to the brand’s website, would cost around 10 million pesos.

But the gift does not have a mere monetary value, but also has a symbolic value for Kel, as she herself expressed in dialogue with Page 7.

“Actually, it wasn’t a birthday present. “A long time ago we had an inside joke with my dad regarding the Chanel bag, which is a classic,” he began his words.

“It was a very symbolic gift, beyond the brand”

“I really like fashion, I love the history of fashion. Within the history of fashion, it is a very iconic accessory and I had talked about it many times with my dad,” he added.

The influence revealed the conversation he had with his father about it.

“He told me: ‘when you graduate or when you become a lawyer, it can be a reality.’ “It was a very symbolic gift, beyond the brand, beyond the details of the bag, which is obviously beautiful,” he shared.

“I use it every day I can. It is like a beautiful and iconic collector’s piece,” said the law graduate.

In this sense, Kel Calderón explained that his father’s gift “is like a representation of many conversations we had. “It is something very beautiful, because it is a gift from him, something classic, something very timeless.”

“My relationship with my father is very important to me, so it is like a symbolism within everything that that means,” he said.
