British King Charles has made a working visit for the first time since it was announced that he had cancer. Charles visited a cancer center in London with his wife Queen Camilla. Discussions were held there with patients receiving chemotherapy.
In February, Charles temporarily stopped working after doctors discovered he had cancer. What form of cancer that is has never been disclosed.
Few details
Buckingham Palace has released few details about the king’s health. It is known that the disease was discovered at an early stage and that medical treatment has not yet been fully completed.
Charles has more appointments on the agenda in the coming weeks. However, they will be adjusted “to minimize the risks for his further recovery”. In June, the royal couple receives the Emperor and Empress of Japan.
Charles has been king since September 2022, when his mother Queen Elizabeth died. He was officially crowned in May last year.
