Currently, Znotiņa-Znota is the head of the Public Relations and Internal Communication Department of the State Audit Office. From 2015 to 2019, she was the press secretary of the European Parliament (EP) in Latvia.

From 2012 to 2015, Znotiņa-Znote was the press secretary of the Cabinet of Ministers. On the other hand, from 2006 to 2012, she worked in a public relations agency. Master’s degree in business administration with honors at the University of Banking. A bachelor’s degree in social sciences in communication science was obtained at Riga Stradins University and Roskilde University in Denmark. It is expected that Znotiņa-Znota will start work in the team of the Minister of Foreign Affairs on May 7.

From 2022 to 2024, Pildegović was a senior expert at NATO’s Strategic Communication Center of Excellence, while from 2020 to 2022, Pildegović was an advisor to MEP Sandra Kalnietes (JV) on foreign affairs and security issues.

Pildegović holds a master’s degree in politics and international relations from the University of Cambridge with distinction, as well as a bachelor’s degree in international relations from the Faculty of Military Studies at King’s College London. Pildegović is a 2024 graduate of the Denton Transatlantic Program of the European Center for Policy Analysis, as well as previously nominated as the Next Generation Security Leader of the Warsaw Security Forum and GLOBSEC. Pildegovićs will start working in the minister’s team on May 20.

As reported, the office of the Minister of Foreign Affairs is headed by the current one Ministry of Foreign Affairs Kaspars Krumholtz, head of the department for Eastern Europe and Central Asia. The deputy head of the office of the Minister of Foreign Affairs is diplomat Andra Krūmiņa, who has also performed these duties until now. On the other hand, the name of the Parliamentary Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will be named after the termination of his obligations with the current workplace.

Braži was approved by the majority of the foreign ministers on April 19 Saeima in an extraordinary meeting.
