In 2010, the Kuwaiti government launched the e-kuwait gateway, a collaborative effort involving numerous ministries, governmental bodies, and private sector entities. This initiative aimed to streamline public services and enhance digital accessibility for citizens.
Further demonstrating a dedication to higher education, a decree was issued establishing the College of Architecture at Kuwait University. This college focuses on delivering high-quality architectural education and cultivating skilled architects capable of innovative and creative design solutions.
The same year also witnessed the founding of the Kuwait Academy of Arts. It encompasses the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts and the Higher Institute of Musical Arts, with provisions for future artistic institutions. Kuwait bolstered its energy sector with the inauguration of a natural gas purification facility in the Al-Manaqiish field, west of Kuwait. This facility processes natural gas, removing acidic gases and producing between 40 and 60 million cubic feet of gas daily.
