LG Twins‘ Jeong Seong-ho aims to be a “super utility player” after winning a championship ring last year following his transfer to the team. He reflects on the 2025 season as a blessed one where he was given time to adapt and receive support from senior players. Jeong Seong-ho entered the KBO through the KT Wiz in 2020, but struggled to secure a spot in the first team due to defensive concerns despite a strong batting average in the Futures League. A trade to the LG Twins in June proved to be a turning point, allowing him to play various positions and contribute to the team, even being included in the Korean Series roster.He was deeply moved when his pregnant wife attended a game to support him. He felt the LG Twins recognized his maturity and gave him confidence, unlike his time with the KT Wiz. Ku Bon-hyuk helped him adjust to the team. This year, the LG Twins are testing Jeong Seong-ho’s versatility by exploring his potential as an outfielder, along with his original position at second base, and he has brought gloves for outfield, infield, and first base to spring camp.
