Sam Vanderpump Announces Pregnancy Amidst Health Battle

“I really love the name,” Sam shared. “My mum didn’t like it, so my brother was named Jack.My dad still had the last laugh by giving him the middle name Daniels.”

Facing a Serious Diagnosis

“There is no hope of my liver getting better,” he confided to a costar. “They said, ‘I wouldn’t be having this call with you if I thought you could make it through the next four or five years.'”
He is currently undergoing assessment for a potential liver transplant. Despite the gravity of the situation, Sam maintains a hopeful outlook.
“The way I look at it, I’m healthy now,” he stated. “Hopefully I remain healthy all the way up until one day they’ll give me a call, and I’ll go in for a surgery. and then I wake up and I’ll be healthier.”

This isn’t the first time Sam has faced a serious medical crisis. He was hospitalized in december 2023 with kidney and liver failure stemming from a genetic condition. This led to a life-threatening case of sepsis.
Previously, doctors assured him his underlying condition wouldn’t significantly impact his life. However, the experience highlighted the dangers of sepsis, a condition he emphasizes can affect anyone.
“although I had an underlying liver and kidney condition, it never affected my life,” he explained in a social media post. “The truly frightening part was sepsis,which can happen to anyone.”
He underscored the importance of recognizing sepsis symptoms and seeking immediate medical attention, noting its high mortality rate globally. Sam’s personal experience serves as a powerful reminder of the urgency surrounding sepsis awareness.
