According to Dr. de Lustrac, the mother began experiencing strong contractions while traveling from Mansle.He advised the paramedics to take the exit for Maine-de-Boixe, jokingly suggesting they might deliver the baby within his jurisdiction. He recounted to La Charente-libre that the mother found his presence reassuring. “He told me to hold on as much as possible: I’ve never laughed so much during a delivery, he really relaxed me, I wasn’t stressed at all,” the mother shared, noting this was her fifth child and she had previously given birth at home.
