French President Emmanuel Macron condemned “false information and fabricated scenarios” referring to rumors on social networks that his wife is a transgender woman, Agence France-Presse reported, BTA reported.
“The worst is false information and fabricated scenarios, as the people who end up believing them put pressure on you, including in your private life,” the president commented to journalists at the end of the ceremony to include the right to abortion in the French Constitution .
