During the Easter long weekend, major traffic restrictions in Greater Montreal are announced by Mobilité Montréal. Motorists are warned: the Papineau-Leblanc bridge will be closed from Thursday at 10 p.m. until Monday at 11:59 p.m.

The Papineau-Leblanc bridge, which Highway 19 crosses, connects Laval and the borough of Ahuntsic-Cartierville to Montreal. In the south direction, the detour will take the service road of Highway 440 in the east direction, via the Pie-IX bridge or via the Médéric-Martin bridge in the west direction.

Heading north, the detour will take place via Boulevard Henri-Bourassa, via the Pie-IX or Viau bridges and via Boulevard de la Concorde.

Access to Saint-Martin Boulevard from Highway 440 is maintained.

The Quebec Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility predicts heavy congestion, especially on Saturday, during the Montreal Canadiens game at the Bell Centre.
