“Many people have an extensive skincare routine, but I don’t believe in a ten-step routine. For example, if you already uses an acid, then combine it with a nourishing cream. If you want to expand your routine, add one product instead of all at once. This way your skin can get used to it in peace.”

Make-up tip

If you suffer from large pores, Connie has the golden tip: “First use the Nanoblur primer from Indeed Labs. This is pretty much a filter in a jar. It makes the skin structure finer, making the large pores less noticeable. You shine less, but you retain a natural glow. Then you go over it with a nice foundation. I often use the Dior Forever, Natural Nude. This looks great on everyone and can be built up very well. I use thin layers over the face and, where necessary, add additional concealer. This way you have the perfect basis for your skin”

To powder the face and mattify it even more, Connie uses the transparent powder from By Terry, with hyaluronic acid. “If you apply this with a loose brush, you will see your entire skin structure change, because it has a hydrating effect. Everything blends together well. ”

Tip for your hair

But the make-up artist also likes to share her tip when it comes to hair: “We all want the sleek bun like Sofia Richie. The key is to do that when you actually have to wash your hair, so that your hair has more grip. Divide your hair in half: from your ears diagonally up to your parting, and secure it. Make a tight ponytail with the remaining hair and then do the other part. Bundle the two parts together into a ponytail or bun, this way you get the perfect model and it stays in place. Secure the fine hairs that stick out with a wax stick like the one from By GlamGuru. This way you make it completely sleek and neat. The tighter you put the bun or ponytail, the more you get a lift at your eyebrows.”
