“Finally, the final conversation has arrived,” Malou begins her post. ‘No whining, screaming or ‘victim vs the bitch’, but a clear story of two people who started this adventure completely differently. Both hurt, learned and continue our lives separately. After this episode it really felt like a weight was lifted off my shoulders. I survived and relived it.’ All’s well that ends well, all right? Well, Malou still has a bone to pick with her critics.

“I’ve had to deal with a lot of shit,” Malou continues about the comments received from, among others, ‘juice channels’ and ‘occupational benefit recipients’. “This was unnecessary, very unfortunate, but this says so much more about you than about me,” she concludes.

From the way she ends her message, it can be concluded that Malou has had enough of the spotlight after her TV adventure. ‘Bye MAFSthank you for the lesson, the beautiful people I have gained from this and see you never again.’

Wednesday night was in Married at First Sight to see how Malou and Sarath gave the experts explanations about the breakdown of their marriage. For example, Malou pointed out Sarath’s ‘mood swings’. She also stated that she had ‘literally become ill’ from their honeymoon in Lapland. “All the emotions came out. I had no voice for a week.”
