Martin Beranek is leaving his role as Commercial Director for Austria and Switzerland at Bitpanda at the finish of April 2026, returning to his own marketing agency, Forca Marketing, after nearly three years with the Vienna-based fintech company.
Beranek, who joined Bitpanda in August 2023, confirmed his departure is on his own initiative, marking a return to the entrepreneurial path he pursued before joining the cryptocurrency and investment platform. His exit comes amid continued growth for Bitpanda, which reported 393 million euros in revenue for 2024 and surpassed 7.4 million registered users by the end of 2025.
During his tenure, Beranek oversaw commercial activities in the Austrian and Swiss markets, with a focus on marketing, localization, and expanding business-to-consumer initiatives. His background includes over five years at Kindred Group (Unibet), where he served as General Manager for the DACH region.
Bitpanda has strengthened its market position in recent years, securing a 59.6 percent share in the Austrian market according to an EY study, and obtaining a MiCAR license from financial regulators in April 2025, granting access to a European market of over 500 million people.
Forca Marketing, which Beranek founded in 2022, will now become his primary professional focus again. He has indicated plans to invest in data-driven growth marketing and artificial intelligence initiatives within the agency.
The transition of his responsibilities at Bitpanda is expected to be carried out in an orderly manner, as stated by the company. Neither Beranek nor Bitpanda has disclosed specific details about a successor for his role.
This career move reflects a broader trend among marketing executives in the fintech sector who leverage experience from high-growth technology firms to reinvigorate independent agencies with advanced digital strategies.
As of the date of this report, no official statement has been issued by Forca Marketing regarding Beranek’s return or upcoming strategic direction.
