Here are his answers to four questions you might ask yourself on this subject:

What can Meta AI do?

Meta’s artificial intelligence can answer questions, suggest posts, correct your spelling, and solve math problems.

“It can do a lot of things, a bit like Chat GPT can do today,” says the expert.

Should we fear for the protection of our personal information?

Bruno Guglielminetti maintains that we must be careful with the sensitive information that we could share with Meta AI, although the company assures that it respects the privacy of Internet users.

“With all the experience that we have had and that we have known with the different platforms of the Meta group, we can be a little uncomfortable about this,” proclaims the expert.

“Put in there what you might put on a postcard, knowing that there are other pairs of eyes who might see that information,” he adds.

This advice is also valid for Chat GPT, says Mr. Guglielminetti.

“Unless you pay for a package and are assured in the conditions of use that the information is kept in a secure vault and that only you have access to this information, you will not “should not share or use sensitive or private information about you in the requests you make,” he explains.

Is Meta AI equipped to answer medical questions?

“He will wear white gloves when it comes to issues as sensitive as health and generally, he will give us the type of information that we could find if we went to Wikipedia,” says the ‘expert.

Is it safe for children?

Meta AI does not perform age verification; the door is therefore open for minors to use it.

Bruno Guglielminetti’s advice for parents is therefore to have a discussion on the subject with their children.

“We have to keep an eye on that. We also have to explain to them what it is, what it is for and how they can use it,” he maintains.
