– I have a very strong impression that the various actors in society in Malmö have a fantastic cooperation and take the security threat very seriously, says Minister of Justice Gunnar Strömmer (M).
Ahead of Sunday’s party leader debate in Agenda in SVT, several party leaders expressed concern about the security around the competition. The Liberal party leader Johan Pehrson tells TT that he is critical of the decision to organize Eurovision in Malmö. He believes that it could have been put in another place and that he is “worried that it could become unpleasant”. The reason is Israel’s participation and that several protests and demonstrations are expected.
– I am completely convinced that it will be implemented in a good way in Malmö, Gunnar Strömmer (M) responds to Johan Persson’s (L) proposal.
