The Civil Protection and Fire Service celebrates this Thursday, the 30th, another anniversary, since it was institutionalized as a public body in Angola.
In light of this event, the Minister of the Interior, Eugénio César Laborinho, guaranteed that MININT continues to focus on training and training staff from the Civil Protection and Fire Service.
According to the congratulatory message from the Minister of the Interior, on the occasion of the 42nd anniversary of the Civil Protection and Fire Service, to which this editor had access, the government official also guaranteed the creation of better social and working conditions for effective, with the construction of infrastructures, acquisition of modern means and equipment and career progression.
“Since the date of its institutionalization, SPCB staff have been carrying out their actions, with courage, determination, discipline, humanism and resilience, observing the combination of giving life to save lives”, highlighted the leader.
Afterwards, Eugénio Laborinho recognized that, “despite the difficult and adverse conditions in which SPCB staff often operate, they spare no effort to develop fire prevention and extinguishing actions, provide humanitarian support, rescue trapped and submerged people, help victims disasters and natural calamities, as well as providing pre-hospital medical assistance, among others”.
“We praise the work that the SPCB Management and its staff have been carrying out throughout this year, calling for readiness and sacrifice in carrying out missions, especially in this rainy and bathing season, which requires greater precaution”, highlights the note.
It should be noted that the Civil Protection and Fire Service is a Central Executive Body of MININT, which marks, today, November 30, 2023, its 42nd Anniversary, under the motto: “Firefighters of Angola, Firm in the Vanguard of Protection of Life and Property”.
