MOTOR SHOW – 80 million ariary allocated to sick children

The organizers of the Motor show come to the aid of sick children in the capital.

Thing promised, thing due. Noble social action, mechanics is at the bedside of sick children. The Madagascar High Performance association carries out its project in transparency. As promised, the organizer of the Motor show yesterday made donations to four children’s hospitals in the capital.

Ten thousand visitors were recorded during the two days of the event. “We were able to raise 80 million ariary apart from expenses due to the organization. We will allocate all our revenue to support sick children as we promised,” says the first person responsible for organizing the Motor Show, Tojo Ranaivo, reigning national champion of the 2023 runs. Cancer patients will be prioritized. Four children’s hospitals in the capital will be the beneficiaries. “We carried out a pre-visit to find out their needs on Thursday, namely Befelatànana, HJRA, Ambohimiandra and the children’s hospital in Tsaralalàna,” underlines Tojo Ranaivo.

“According to our survey, two hundred children will benefit from our support, in the short term and long term. We will also provide support to nursing staff. We provide packed baskets, boxes of farilac, diapers, meals, toys, medicines…” continues the manager. “Some of these children were not even able to proceed with diagnosis and treatment. Thus, we will help them to carry out them in order to be able to proceed with the next treatment,” specifies Tojo Ranaivo.

The association has no political purpose, their challenge is to help their compatriots and to encourage young entrepreneurs to do the same. “98% of the exhibitors at the Motor Show were Malagasy. We, Malagasy, must be proud of it,” says the head of the association. The second edition will take place next year and the event could extend to other regions if the partners are convinced.
