Brussel –

The Brussels police have picked a motorcyclist out of traffic who had already been flashed eight times for excessive speed. He also showed his middle finger to the speed cameras.

On Tuesday, the Traffic Directorate of the Brussels Capital/Ixelles police zone removed a motorcyclist from traffic who had already committed several speeding offenses in recent weeks. The driver thought nothing better than to allow himself to be flashed up to 8 times at different times, mainly at Groendreef, Koninklijk Parklaan and Werkhuizenkaai, while sticking out his middle finger at the flash device.

There is a speed limit of 50 kilometers per hour in all the above-mentioned places. The motorcyclist was driving at at least 72 kilometers per hour, with speeds of up to 132 and 137 kilometers per hour. The images of the motorcycle and the driver were distributed and it was a Traffic Directorate patrol who noticed the motorcycle rider in traffic in Laeken on Tuesday.

It turned out that he did not have his paperwork and driver’s license in order and still had to pay a total of 3,840 euros in fines. His motorcycle, with a French number plate, was seized and his driving license was revoked for a period of 15 days. (amg)
