MPLA BP meets with a focus on restructuring management bodies –

In the corridors of the comrades’ headquarters building, exonerations can already be seen, given the objectives of oiling the political ‘machine’, but there are sources that suggest that João Lourenço may choose to merge bodies.

The MPLA’s Political Bureau (BP) meets its staff today in Luanda, with restructuring as the sole point, at least according to the secretariat’s call.

But, internally, there are those who foresee that the meeting will address other aspects of national and party-political life, such as the JMPLA congress, the criteria and approval or not of multiple candidacies, as well as the country’s economic context, in which the Product prices skyrocket.

Within the framework of the official discussion point, which appears in the notice, it is predicted, in the corridors of the party’s headquarters building, that there could be dismissals in rapid succession a few days after the long-awaited meeting.

However, some internal segments, more optimistic, envisage the merger of certain bodies or the creation of more bodies.

”Both the president and BP are unpredictable. At last year’s BP meeting it was also speculated that dismissals would follow, as part of the need for restructuring, but there were none”, he said to the Kianda’s Mail a senior party cadre.

For this important activist, although it is not on the agenda, the BP should also address local authorities, the preparation of staff for this endeavor, as well as the 2027 general elections.

“Because if we want to win, the approach must be now. Electoral elections are won with an early approach,” she said.
