National Library Extends Deadline for Public Input on Future Direction
The National Library has extended the deadline for submissions and workshop registrations as part of a public consultation process designed to redefine the institution’s role for the future. The new deadline for participation is February 8,2026.
This participatory effort aims to foster dialog and share experiences that will shape the National library into a modern and innovative institution. the library seeks to incorporate diverse perspectives on its collections, digitization efforts, services, community engagement, territorial impact, and innovation strategies.
Workshops and Thematic Groups
Participatory workshops will take place between February 9th and April 30th, organized around three thematic working groups: Collections, Archives & Deposit, and Experiences & Territory. These groups will include strategic partners from public institutions, academia, civil society, and the private sector, alongside individuals and organizations chosen through an open application process.
